Donate to EnergyShare Any Time of Year
Now you can donate to EnergyShare at any time during the year. Administered by The Salvation Army, EnergyShare funds are provided by voluntary donations by customers, with a portion matched by Virginia Natural Gas. To donate, just add $1, $2, $5, $10, $15 or $20 to your monthly bill payment.
Our system will automatically recognize your overpayment in the amounts noted above as a donation to EnergyShare.
Note: If you would like to pay ahead on your bill, add an amount other than $1, $2, $5, $10, $15 or $20, to your monthly bill payment so that your account is noted correctly.
Third-Party Program Offers Peace of Mind
Do you know of a relative or friend who is ill and may be at risk of having gas service cut off for nonpayment? If so, you may want to sign up for our Third-Party Notification Service. You’ll receive a copy of the person’s shut-off notice. This does not mean you have to pay the bill, and it will not stop the shut-off. It will, however, alert you that the person is having problems and may need help or advice.
To become a third party or to name a third party yourself, call our Customer Care Center: 1-866-229-3578.
